After the sad news of Alex Trebek leaving the great Jeopardy show, there were announcements of who would replace him, and the honor went to both Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings.
They are both great in front of the camera
Both would host on different occasions to see who would be at the helm of such an iconic show, and it seems that fans are not too happy about the performance of ex-Blossom and The Big Bang Theory Mayim Bialik.
She has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience
Although Mayim Bialik has Ph.D. in Neuroscience and is well acquainted with cameras, sets and all things in television due to her acting trajectory, the fans have not responded with affection to her hosting.
While Ken Jennings has earned his spot in the Jeopardy lore, first as a contestant, then as an author, and eventually has joined Bialik in hosting duties.
When he gave the news that he was leaving Jeopardy there was fan upheaval
“Congratulations to Mattea Roach on a truly iconic @Jeopardy streak,” Jennings wrote. “I believe she’s one of only three champs in history ever to “shoot their age”: 23 years old, 23 wins.”
Right after he announced that he was giving all hosting duties to Bialik after speaking highly of her.
He praised Mayim
“I’m handing the keys back to the talented actor-producer-writer-director (!) @missmayim for a few months,” he continued “We are lucky to have her! Thanks for watching, and I’ll be back before the end of the season.”
He will not be completely out
While he will not be in front of the camera, he will be behind and maybe participating in a few tasks, but he said he’d return before the end of the season which is programed to end soon.
