Alex Jones is a conspiracy theorist and host of Infowars.
Jones recently lost a trial against one of the families of a Sandy Hook victim.
According to multiple reports, a Texas jury ordered Alex Jones to pay $45.2 million in punitive damages to the parents of Jesse, a child killed during the worst school shooting ever recorded in the US.
Alex Jones mentioned -years ago- that the Sandy Hook school shooting never happened.
He described the kids and mothers as “crisis actors.”
Jones told his audience that everything was a hoax.
Sandy Hook School Shooting
A decade ago, a gunman opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary School, killing 20 children and six school staffers.
Neil Heslin, one of the parents suing Alex Jones, told under oath to Alex Jones that his son died that day.
“He did live,” Heslin said while testifying.
“I was blessed with him for six and a half years. I cherish those days, those years with Jesse.”
Alex Jones’s net worth
Alex Jones has a total net worth of $40 million.
However, Jones claimed on trial that his net worth value was $5 million.
Calculations establish that Alex Jones has a net worth between $135 million and $270 million.
Jones owns several companies, including the conspiracy theory channel and website, Infowars.
Celebrity Net Worth establishes that Infowars averaged $53.2 million in gross revenue.
Alex Jones must pay $4.1 million in compensatory damages to a Sandy Hook family, and $45 million in punitive damages.
Reports say Alex Jones filed for bankruptcy.
Nevertheless, as the judge said, not because he filed for bankruptcy, it means Alex Jones is broken.
