Mike Tyson took to Instagram on Friday night to thank UFC president Dana White for turning down ‘millions’ of dollars from Hulu to promote the boxer’s biopic.
The legendary heavyweight boxer said the streaming platform did not pay him anything to create the show, titled “Mike.”
“Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother Dana White millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master takeover story about my life,” Tyson wrote. “He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity.
“I’ll never forget what he did for me, just like I’ll never forget what Hulu stole from me.”
Mike is set to premiere August 25 on Hulu.

Tyson, 56, has openly criticized Hulu’s show about his life, calling it a “tone-deaf cultural misappropriation” of his story.
The former heavyweight champion is involved in another project about his life, starring Jamie Foxx.
Foxx, an executive producer of the show, will team up with director Antoine Fuqua to tell Tyson’s story.
Foxx has showcased his impressively accurate Tyson impression countless times before.
