After their secret wedding and subsequent honeymoon, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have returned to reality, the commitments of their busy schedules, keeping them away from each other.
But according to a source close to the actor, the two believe staying apart after saying “I do” will make their relationship “stronger”.
“The one thing that makes their relationship so unique is that they know more than anyone else the demands that come with doing what they do,” the insider revealed to Hollywood Life.
Happy despite the distance
After a romantic honeymoon in Europe, the ‘Bronx Diva’ stayed there, while the 49-year-old actor returned to the United States to work on his upcoming Nike movie.
“They actually believe that spending time apart makes them stronger and it’s perfect because when they are apart, they are making an extreme amount of money,” the source added, indicating that it’s a win-win situation.
They’ve talked about work-life balance
The insider said JLo and Ben have talked openly about their careers and how they will strike a balance between their jobs and their life.
“They fully understand that there will be times when they can’t always be together,” they explained.
“It’s something they’ve both acknowledged and discussed extensively throughout their relationship, so it’s nothing new.
“Sure, being apart so soon after their wedding is not ideal. But they know they have their whole lives ahead of them and they enjoy every minute of the journey.”
Together from afar
They also said that although the two celebrities are not physically together, “they are always talking, texting, FaceTiming and even recording when they are apart working”.
“And the time apart makes getting back together that much better. JLo loves the fact that she knows her husband will be there for her no matter what,” the source said.
