The Beckham family stole almost all the media headlines of the 2000s, with David and Victoria being perhaps the most famous parents around.
As is natural in life, those children the pair had are now grown up, with Brooklyn Beckham having already gotten married at 23 years old.
The second oldest Beckham child is Romeo, who has already started to show signs that he is going to follow in the footsteps of his parents and be a star himself.
Whilst Romeo has enjoyed work as a model, the young man is the only one of the Beckham children who has played football at a professional level.
This appears to be his chosen path with the 19-yeat-old currently representing Inter Miami II, who are the B team of the MLS club that is owned by his father.
The team plays in the MLS Next Pro League and is supposed to provide a pathway into the MLS.
Romeo Beckham was present for a match with Inter Miami II on the day after his elder brother’s wedding, highlighting his commitment to this career, although it remains to be seen if he has the talent to move and play for a team that doesn’t have his father’s influence.
There would also need to be a consideration made by MLS clubs as to whether or not Romeo would qualify for US Citizenship, especially after having spent much of his youth in America whilst his father represented the Los Angeles Galaxy. This would make him a much more attractive proposition for American clubs if he could be considered a homegrown talent.
Will Cruz be a singer like Victoria?
Cruz Beckham, meanwhile, has hopes of following in the footsteps of his mother, as a singer. At 17 years of age, he has already appeared on the cover of i-D magazine, where he spoke about his aspirations to have a music career.
In that interview, he remarked that he has lost his passion for football and is much more keen on becoming a singer, words that will have pleased his mother but not his father.
